Becoming a "Vendangeur d'un Jour®" (grape picker for a day) means understanding the winegrowing profession and this very special time of year.

The job of winegrower is often mistakenly summed up only in terms of the grape harvest, and that's probably because it's so crucial! Throughout the year, the winegrower works the land, watching over and tending his vines until the grapes reach maturity, and then comes the harvest. Sometimes the weather can be capricious: too much rain, too much sunshine or a hailstorm can turn everything upside down! You have to be quick and precise...

Becoming a "Vendangeur d'un Jour®" means entering the world of the winegrower and sharing his daily routine.

During the manual harvest, everyone is at his or her post: cutters equipped with pruning shears pick the bunches, porters carry hoods and baskets to the end of each row of vines, tractor drivers bring the day's harvest to the sorting table where the berries are selected. The stewards prepare the harvesters' famous meals and snacks!
