Pepites Du Sud Etoile Le Chateau De Flaugergues

Montpellier Folies wine tour

Montpellier has been renowned for its faculty of medicine since the 14th century. This tradition of science has continued until today. It is here that the most brilliant researchers invented viticulture and modern oenology. Around the School of Agriculture, Montpellier has built up over time the largest center of wine research in the world. The terroirs of Grès de Montpellier, Saint Georges d'Orques, Saint Drézéry and Méjanelle are among the oldest in Languedoc. Over the centuries, the rich aristocrats and doctors of Montpellier have built superb wine castles on these terroirs. They called them their folies (that meands in french crazy, you should understand why when you visit it).

Secret and majestic, fragile and powerful, authentic and contemporary, this land cultivates nuances... and loves to share them with visitors. Epicurean souls will feel the charm of a holiday in this "little Tuscany" of the Tarn, where you let yourself be carried away by the senses. A sunset over the rolling vineyards, a glass of Gaillac wine and... time stands still. You'll feel great!
