Galus is the Latin word for cock and is thought to have given Gaillac its name. The second hypothesis would be its ancient Gallo-Roman name Galhac, meaning fertile. Secret and majestic, fragile and powerful, authentic and contemporary, this land cultivates nuances... and loves to share them with visitors. Exceptionally, on Sunday May 8, Montpellier winegrowers gather to take part in the Wine et gastronomic walk of Grès de Montpellier. A great walk in the middle of the parks of Montpellier to discover these passionate winegrowers. The walk is punctuated by gastronomic stops combining wines with refined cuisine.
